Not all media has the same purpose. Some media gives us facts, whilst other media tries to change our minds.
Objective Media
Presents facts without opinions. Example: A news report stating "It rained 25mm yesterday" or a science textbook explaining photosynthesis.

Shows multiple viewpoints
Persuasive Media
Tries to convince you to think or act a certain way. Example: An advert saying "Buy our trainers to be cool!" or a campaign poster.
